Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-06-12. This policy explains what information CryptoIQ collects when you use https://crypto-iq.xyz, how we use it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices and rights you have.

1Who we are

CryptoIQ is operated by CryptoIQ, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“CryptoIQ,” “we,” “us”). You can manage or delete your personal information through your account settings (see Section 8), or reach us on X at @CryptoIQ_xyz. For these purposes we act as the data controller of your personal information.

2Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

  • Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider Clerk collects your email address and basic profile information (and, if you use a social or passkey login, the identifiers that provider returns).
  • Billing information.When you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe through Clerk Billing. CryptoIQ does not collect or store your full card number or other full payment-card data. We store only subscription and billing metadata — such as your plan, subscription status, renewal date, and billing events — in our own database (Neon).
  • Newsletter / email. If you opt in to emails, we store the email address you provide and your subscription preferences.
  • Usage and technical data. Like most web services, our hosting and error-monitoring providers automatically receive standard technical data such as IP address, device/browser type, pages requested, timestamps, and diagnostic error reports, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of sensitive personal data, and we ask that you not submit any to us.

3How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account;
  • process subscriptions, payments, renewals, and cancellations;
  • send service, billing, and (where you opted in) newsletter or product emails;
  • respond to your requests and provide support;
  • monitor, debug, and improve performance, reliability, and security; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where required by law, our legal bases for processing include performance of our contract with you (providing the Service), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), consent (for example, marketing email), and compliance with legal obligations.

4Processors and sub-processors

We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf to operate the Service. Current providers include:

  • Clerk— authentication, accounts, and billing orchestration.
  • Stripe— payment processing (handles your card data directly under its own privacy terms).
  • Neon— database hosting for application and subscription metadata.
  • Vercel— application hosting and content delivery.
  • Sentry— error monitoring and diagnostics.
  • GitHub Actions— automated data refresh and operations.
  • Resend— newsletter and transactional email delivery.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy and security terms and only as needed to perform its function. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own unrelated purposes.

5We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not trade your data to third parties for their own marketing.

6Cookies and sessions

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service — primarily to keep you signed in (session and authentication cookies set by Clerk) and to secure requests. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using paid features.

7Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, billing and tax records) to comply with legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

8Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update, port, restrict, or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. These include rights under the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/ CPRA), including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (note: we do not sell or share it).

To exercise these rights, use your account settings to access, correct, or delete your information, and use the unsubscribe link in any email to opt out of marketing. Because these actions are tied to your signed-in account, we can honor them without further verification, or reach us on X at @CryptoIQ_xyz. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your account credentials and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

10Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11International transfers

We and our providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13Contact
